Since the beginning of the year, I get constantly bombarded by different people and PR firms asking me to review and endorse their new or upcoming job listing or resume building search engine.
A few of the company leaders have solid credentials in human resources management and know what will aid both the client and the candidates in their search process. On the other hand many are just aspiring entrepreneurs looking for a way to capitalize on the market without offering anything of value.
There are three emerging online job search engines that have a nice new hook that I think can make them viable with the proper marketing and financing. They are http://careerscribe.com/, http://realmatch.com/, and http://jobmetrx.com/.
I have spoken at length with their CEO’s and I am impressed with all three of them and what they bring to the table and how they are going about their business. As of today, I do not know their success ratio so I will stop short of unilaterally endorsing them, however I think they are sites that all of you should visit and make your own opinion on.
I would also like to thank all of the Linked-In and Career Rocketeer members and readers who have taken me up on my offer to review and critique your resume for free and help you make improvements that can help you develop a unique brand rather then looking like a clone. The offer still stand. Email your resume to javit111@aol.com.
